Week of July 23 to 29:
Nice and easy! One 1800m lake swim (45 minutes) and lots of reminiscing about the race over our traditional DQ Blizzard. (My Favourite Flavour: Oreo Cookie!!!) Grant (my swim coach) has suggested that I warm up with about 10 minutes of easy swimming prior to the race to reduce panic attacks. I’ll try it at Chaparral.
Next week I promise to start building my 10 km base. My single Chaparral goal is a sub 1 hour run.
