Spin-Stretch & Run 1:23:10

I did a super easy spin on the trainer this morning, more to just warm up my legs so I could give them a good stretch. I sang too and it went pretty well.

I did a very easy but steady 50 minutes at Cedar Hill after work. We had a beautiful, sunny day today but the clear skies made for a cold run once the sun went down. The moon was full and lit my way the entire time so there was no need to use my headlight tonight. It was a really serene run…just me bopping along to tunes on my shuffle! My legs still feel a bit flat so I didn’t give a hoot about the pace. I did 6 frisky Pose drills and strides on the grass and then did my strength routine minus the leg stuff…just core and upper body.

Juice made the best steak dinner ever tonight…gawd it was good! I then went over to Pearkes Rec Centre and got a new strength routine from Roland Neville. I have been doing the same routine he gave me since August so it was definitely time to switch things up a bit. He always has great running-specific exercises that I feel have made a huge difference to my overall strength. Thanks Rol!
