Easy Run 47:41

I got to sing quite a bit this morning. Selena is back from her vacation so it’s time to get serious again!
One of my co-workers is back to work today but still doesn’t look too healthy and the other one is still sick, poor thing. It was quiet today so I got a lot of stuff done. It’s a good thing too because it will be a short week since I am going to Calgary on Friday to visit Er this weekend! She and Pete are taking me to Canmore and I get to also hang out with their sweet, little girlies Miss O and Gabby! Er and I are going to the Banff Springs Hotel , just the two of us on Saturday for the day…to the spa!
The run today was a nice, easy cruise straight from work. I stopped by to say a quick hello to Cedar Hill doing a loop and a half and then continued home. My legs feel great today. There’s no stiffness yet from yesterday’s race. I kept the pace easy and left out the strides . I did my new weight routine after supper and like it a lot.
Dawn called me last night to say she made a bid on a watch on ebay and she got it for me for $60!!! I am so excited! I love that she did that! It’s a man’s watch (they don’t make a women’s version of this particular model) but it has all the features I want! David had the exact same one on last week and I I think it will be perfect. I bought a Nike watch about a month ago but the plastic covering over the face is curved so everything reflects off of it making it impossible to see anything. It’s really bad at night on the track with the lights shining overhead…so I returned it. Good thing I bought it at The Bay…they’ll return anything, I swear! I had the receipt but not the box…they still returned it!

Congrats on your run on the weekend, well done. I am sure your new age category is going to be super competitive, it certainly is a very competitive bracket here in Aus.
