My lesson with Selena didn’t go too hot today. Remnants from my cold have left me plugged up and feeling a bit blah and coupled with the fact that I haven’t sung much this past week and a half have left me feeling out of shape. I won’t be able to sing this coming weekend either because of the Sun Run so it looks like I am going to feel REALLY out of shape next week…grrrr…I’ll get back on track in a couple of weeks.

I ran at the lakes tonight after work. It was windy AGAIN and it’s starting to feel chillier out. The forecast is calling for flurries on the weekend…FLURRIES in April in Victoria/Vancouver??? This is nuts! I ran into OCal and Paddy at Hamsterly beach running the opposite way around the lakes but he was doing a a bit of a fartlek so I continued on my own running the short route. I felt ok but not stellar energy-wise. Another couple days of rest should do the trick though!

OCal jogged back up the trail and met me close to the finsih of my loop. We had a good laugh watching Paddy “play” with a horse who was not at all amused by his barking and sudden, darting moves. We had to drag Paddy away. I was terrified he was going to get a kick in the head. What a goofy dog!
