Morning Spin - Easy Run with Poser Drills 46:21

I did a 30 minute spin this morning before work with some light stretching afterwards. My legs feel pretty good today  so I think I am getting back on track.

I made it to the lakes after work at the same time IRR was about to start their session. I ran the warm-up with them and got to chat with Jess until the boat house where they were to start their first interval and then just continued along at an easy pace. I treid focusing on keeping my feet light and falling forward from the core as much as possible. I stopped on the back stretch near the 9 km marker like I did last week and just did a few Pose drills and strides to reacquaint myself with some descent form and quick turn-over. I was a bit of a mess at the end of last night’s session don’t want to have a memory of ragged form in my mind too long. I did a good 15 minutes worth of awareness drills with short strides and by the end, I was feeling light and springy. It helps too that this stretch of trail is on a slight downhill. You fly!

I chatted with a few pepole from the club for a bit when they got back to the p-lot. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen some of my old club mates! I then drove to the ocean, grabbed my book and waded out waist-high and did a 10 minute icing. My legs felt so great after this!
