Off I Go!

Yesterday was a grass wo at Lambrickafter work: 10 x 90″ (1′). The grass was boggy and slow in sections so footing was tricky but it went well otherwise. I just tried to keep my turn-over going…tough when your feet are sinking into what feels like porridge. Jon had another wo in the morning which he did along with a few of the others in his group. He came to supervise me later in the day and as my other running mates from the group couldn’t make it, it was a solo effort. I ran the last few reps in the dark and got caught in the rain for the cool-down. It was fun!
Today was a 60′ steady run from my place along Lochside to Braodmead and back in the morning. Felt good so now it’s all easy running until the Ekiden. Tied up loose ends at work before I left - I feel lucky to have such a supportive work place!
Ok, off to finish the packing. I am very excited!!

Good luck! though I know you don’t need it!
