Welcome to the new and improved blog. It feels all shiny and fresh, although I’m not sure the move will make a huge difference on my writing style, it will be much the same, would need to look into some writing classes to liven up my posts : )

It has been an exciting day, out at lunch with workmate Robby for an easy run through town and out on the Breakwater. We kept it steady and relaxed, had a chatty cruise.

This afternoon our Digital Hero 3’s came in and me being the gear geek I am put the batteries in one and started playing as soon as I could get the package open. They are tiny little cameras, will strap right on to our forearms, are ultra light, and with the memory disk will hold a ton of pictures. With each of us carrying one we will hopefully chronicle the race really well.

Here are three pictures taken with the Hero. As a small experiment they are all different sizes to see what fits best.

It looks like the middle one is the best fit for the blog, what do you think?

T had mountain biking club this evening, they all went back out to Juan De Fuca and played with their bikes on the new BMX track.
