Hang power snatch difficulties

Today’s Workout:

“Official” Warmup
3 rounds of 10-15 reps of
Samson Stretch
Overhead Squat
Ab-Mat Sit-up
Back-extension
Pull-up/Push-up
Rings/Bench dips

Buy In:
Hang power snatch technique practice – 4 sets of 3 reps, working up to WOD weight. (I got up to 65# during the Buy In but was having difficulty with my technique and form during the WOD so pulled the weight  off and went with just the 45# bar)

WOD – “Snatch up your Elbows” for time

21-15-9 reps of

  • Hang power snatch (45#)
  • Ring pushups (incline, knee)
  • Knees to elbows

My time was: 13’08″

Cash Out:
Deadlifts 5×5 work up in weight each set (150#, 170#, 190#, 210#, 240#)
