You know it’s cold when…

The Inner Harbour is frozen over in spots.

Running past the Causeway at lunch I saw the ice build-up around the docks, along the edges of the walkway and on the fountain in front of the Parliament Buildings which had icicles hanging down from the top bowl.

I had a cool but wicked Breakwater run complete with my Day 9 burpees done out by the Lighthouse.  For the first few minutes I was feeling quite sore probably from yesterday’s Crossfit Zone WOD but everything loosened up about half way through.

3 rounds of the following exercises:

  • 10 Wallballs
  • 10 knees to elbows
  • 10 pushups
  • 10 squats
  • 10 kb swings (55#)
  • 10 double unders
  • 10 overhead squats (45#)
  • 10 inverted rows
  • 10 db push press (40#)
  • 10 pull-ups
  • 10 thrusters (45#)
  • 10 walking lunges

It was a nasty workout to comeback to but I hung in and finished the WOD in 31’55″ and was one of the last to finish.
