Stairs, sprints, bear crawls & burpees

I posted a video the other day of a workout I was very excited to give a try and yesterday I went out and gave it a go.
In the middle of about a 5km rainy run down the Goose I stopped at the stair case that is right beside the Bay Street Bridge for a few minutes and put in two rounds of the ‘sprint up/5 burpees/bear crawl down/5 burpees’ work out.
Two rounds was all it took for me to feel absolutely trashed – the sprint up and burpees at either end were fine but the bear crawl down was nasty! I was very surprised at just how many muscles engaged during the bear crawl, I was thinking it would be just the arms and some legs but my core and entire upper body were fired up. Two rounds took me just over 6 minutes.
