Crash Course Training

Knowing I’m a ways behind in my training due to being off with the back problems it was time to step it up this weekend, get the legs rolling and see how the back would take some mileage.

The running started on Saturday morning with 2hrs on the trails of Mt.Doug, Sunday morning I hit up Elk/Beaver Lakes for a couple of hangover crushing laps and then on Monday it was a fantastic run on the trails of Sooke Mountain Provincial Park getting in 2+hrs of awesome running.  I think this was my fifth trip out to the Park and on this visit finally made it up to get a look Shields Lake – it was well worth the trip!

Three days of solid running and things are feeling great.  Will take today off and get back at it tomorrow.
