I was very pleased with the gear I took on the course, we probably had some of the lightest packs in the field, weight approx 19 – 20lbs. Some of the competitors had packs that weighed close to 30lbs!

With a reinforced toe and side to prevent tears. The gaiter comes with a velcro strip and tube of super glue to adhere to the outside of shoes ***I ended up not using these at all.
