My last post…

I’ve been thinking about this for a few months and made the decision on my holidays that I am spending far too much time on the computer and not enough time addressing some of the priorities in my life. Computer time, in most cases if we are honest with ourselves, is wasted time. In the end, blogging doesn’t make me a better athlete and if you really need to know my thoughts, email me and we can go for coffee. (robertmackay@shaw.ca) I’d rather be running…

Thanks to Jarhead and Pano for creating the blog for me, it’s been interesting (at least from my standpoint) and I’ve hopefully become a better writer.

See you on the trails. Rob

You’ll be back, eventually. There is no escape from “the blog” once you have begun. You will miss it, come to pine for it, and then you will be compelled to write again. And you will be welcomed back when you do.

rob, it’s been awesome reading your blog – i’m just sorry i didn’t find it earlier and was able to follow you as you went along. . . i don’t know if i’ve told you this, but I just think your ultra running is awe inspiring, a little bit insane and something you should be so incredibly proud of, cause we definately are. if you ever come to peace with your computer and/ or are able to find any “extra” time in your busy life and start the blog up again, please let me know, cause i love seeing (albeit) brief glimpses into the worlds and minds of my friends and family – especially of those i don’t get to see or talk to very often. As “time consuming” and anonymous as the computer can be, I certainly believe that it can also be a somewhat cathartic and positive tool in our lives. . .of course in moderation. . . but hahaha, look who i’m talking to – the guy who runs 300 km in 1 week. . . moderation. . .what’s that! you fit sooo perfectly in with our family. . . lol
    hugs and much love, jen
