Walking!!

Wow, did I feel tired when I woke up today. I really dragged my butt out of bed! I had set up a run-through of my arias with some friends as an audience after work and although it wasn’t a complete disaster, it wasn’t stellar. My focus wasn’t there so I was miles away as I sang and not as grounded as I wanted to be…weird. Anyway, I am chalking it up to fatigue and hope that I will be back on top of things by Thursday. It was so great to have the support of everyone who came! A few of us went out for dinner afterwards and had a couple of good laughs (Paul was there). His potty-mouthed humor is right up my alley. I think Robert my accompanist thought he was a riot too. The most exciting part of the day however was my walk with Giuse around the Cedar Hill golf course. It was a good 40 minute walk at a fast pace and I am thrilled to say my foot felt very, very good. I would have to say there is a slight discomfort occasionally but it certainly didn’t get any worse during or after the walk. In fact, my foot felt loads better afterwards, like it was waking up. We’ll see how it feels tomorrow. I might be depressed again.
